What`s life all about?–Who cares, just live it.

Here`s another thought for ya, why are we here? I don`t know, and I didn't care until I reached my early thirties. Before then I was too busy living it. When things start to slow down and life becomes simpler, that is when the shit hits the fan and the real questions start flying through your mind. The closer you get to death the more you think about life, that is an undisputable fact. The truth is no one knows why we are here. We can speculate but I don`t believe smart people will ever come up with a mathematical equation for why we come to existence and what we are supposed to do with it. But, here are my speculations for you to take into account.

I believe there are instincts that drive us to push forward in life, natural urges we must nurture in order to feel a sense of accomplishment. The thing is, I also have a feeling that nature has challenged us to challenge our own instinctive urges. That is where our true evolution lies, in growing beyond our simple urges and growing beyond our nature. I see our analytical brain as gift from mother nature simply because she wants to know what would happen if she gave us the urge to be more than our urges. Our true form has not yet been reached, and the way we reach it is by following our instinct to be much more than just our instincts. You see, if you don`t know what you are doing here, than try to do much more than you thought you could do, only then will you be able to feel your true nature. This is why people climb impossible mountains and travel to exotic destinations, it is in our nature to challenge ourselves beyond our capacity. It is in our nature to be larger than nature and bigger than life itself. But the question still remains, why would mother nature give us the urge to be so much more than we are. didn't she know we would eventually learn to do without her. Don`t get me wrong, I believe the preservation of nature is the only true road to salvation, but it seems to me that humans are much more interested in transcending nature in order to truly find their true nature. One of our powerful instincts tells us to alter our reality. however we can. Our unsatisfaction to leave things be is eternal, even if you have chosen to leave things be. This eternal duality that govern us is what drives us to be much more than human. I won`t be around to see this because I’ll be long gone, but I am sure that one day we will be able to create and travel as “God” does, without limits or boudries we will all exist in our own crated reality and yet share the reality of others, and that is where the final form of our evolution lies, in the power to control our surroundings by the mere will of our happiness. Our power to share our reality with others and have them add more of theirs to our own, therefore making our own existence much more valid and happy, you know, like facebook.

Beauty and the Beast - Who`s smarter

      We often connect beauty to the lack of intelligence, but we couldn`t be more wrong. Maybe it`s because unattractive people need to feel better about themselves, so they spread that rumor. If there is any truth to the idea that beauty equals dumb, it`s simply because beautiful people are daily subjected to compliments and admiration of their good looks, so they might focus on conquering the world through their appearance and they forget to read a book or two. This reduces their brain power and let`s face it, it`s just easier to get by on good looks. But I believe that the myth of beauty equals stupidity couldn`t be further from the truth.
      Why are we physically attracted to beautiful people? Well, simply because nature says to us, beauty = good genes = better offspring, and isn`t that the meaning of it all, have babies - Let me answer that for you, yes it is! I`ll go into the whole why we are here bit on my next post, so I don`t go on a tangent or else this thing post won`t make any sense. If I allow my fingers to type all my thoughts there isn`t enough storage space on any server on earth to save it all. Anyway - Good genes are expressed through beauty, also known as symmetry, I mean, we see beauty through our symmetry. Don`t know what symmetry means, look it up, go on, I`ll wait...
The more symmetric we are the more attractive we appear. Beauty is also perceived as baby like features, you know, big eyes, pouty lips, smooth skin among others. If good genes are shown through beauty we can assume that the more attractive the person the better the genes, therefore making attractive people more intelligent than none attractive ones. Wait, Ricardo (my name), how come scientist are always goofy looking? Well, your name here, remember when I mentioned that attractive people are always receiving compliments about their looks so they tend to invest on beauty instead of brains, well, unattractive people tend to invest more on brains instead of beauty. So we always see less attractive people taking about Quantum physics. But the sad truth is, if an attractive person invested in becoming a top rate scientist there are great chances of they exceeding their less attractive counterpart. This might be hard to swallow for some people but you can`t deny the logic in this manner of thinking. In nature everything that is meant to survive is strong and beautiful, and a big part of survival for human beings depends on intelligence. If we want to have strong, healthy and intelligent babies, we look for these features in our love partners.
      In order to make this post make any sense you have to ignore all the examples we have in our day to day contact with smart and dumb people. We must take into consideration, inbreeding and generation after generation of unhealthy practices from pregnant women that end up having beautiful dumb babies. I am just looking at the natural part of our existence, the traits we are given by nature, untainted by a modern chemically induced life. The truth of the matter is, the better your genes the more attractive you are, and the more attractive you are the more attractive partners you`ll have, and your baby will have the best chances of surviving diseases and other abnormalities that plague us. So following that train of thought, the better looking you are the smarter you are. Ok?!
